Firefighters tackle Edmonton house fire

FIREFIGHTERS have managed tame the flames that tore through a house in Forest Road, Edmonton,this morning.

Four fire engines and 20 firefighters took just over an hour to douse the flames on the ground floor and part of the first floor in the property.

Fire crews arrived on the scene at 08.13 this morning and the fire was under control by 09.22.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

According to the London Fire Brigade no one was rescued from the flames or injured by the fire.
